Kathy Brady

Kathy is an experienced public relations professional with background in a corporate environment.  She has a BA in Journalism from the University of Connecticut and also attended the University of Maine in Orono.  She spent 24 years at Cigna in the Civic Affairs office, managing events and public relations, and running internal employee fundraising campaigns including United Way, March of Dimes and Susan B. Komen.  Kathy especially enjoyed managing an afterschool tutorial program which bused 100 elementary school students from the Burns School in Hartford to Cigna for one-on-one tutoring with employees one afternoon a week. 

In addition, Kathy served on several South Windsor town committees, including the Inland Wetlands Commission and the Historic District Commission.  She also worked as the Executive Director at the South Windsor Chamber of Commerce from 2016-2018.  In her free time Kathy likes to swim, spend time with family, go to the beach and read.  Her main goals at Wapping Community Church are to keep things running smoothly, connect you with others, facilitate prayers for those in need, and manage administrative tasks.
